We're recruiting trustee roles - Treasurer and General Trustees
We welcome applications from individuals who would like to join our board as general trustees, without holding a specific portfolio. These trustees are a vital part of the board, bringing flexibility, independent judgment, and diverse perspectives that enrich our decision-making.
Although they do not lead a specific area, general trustees play an essential role by attending quarterly board and committee meetings, contributing to strategic planning and financial oversight, and representing the organisation externally. They may also support sub-committees or special projects, where their skills and objective viewpoint help the board identify risks, spot new opportunities, and improve overall governance.
The commitment will require you to attend 4 quarterly Board meetings, either in-person or online. Additionally, you may sit on a specialist sub-committee whose meetings are also quarterly. The meetings are held early evenings.
